Dream11 European Cricket Series Stockholm - Seven teams are participating - Alby Zalmi CC, Indiska CC, Kista CC, Pakistanska Föreningen, Sigtuna CC, Stockholm CC and Stockholm Mumbai Indians in 25 high-octane T10 matches over five days in the Swedish capital Stockholm. Every game is live streamed worldwide on the European Cricket Network and on FanCode - a multi-sport aggregator platform, from the house of Dream Sports for the Indian Sub-Continent.
Day three opened with a genuine Pakistan versus India clash in Stockholm with Pakistanska Foreningen beating Indiska CC by a solitary run in a fantastic start to proceedings.
With a powerful 46 off 21 balls, opener Choudry Ali fired Pakistanska Foreningen to a challenging 95.
Choudry Ali at it againIn a nailbiting finish, Dipanjan Dey bulldozed two massive sixes in the final over to give his side real hope. However, the skipper couldn’t quite get his over the line, as Indiska lost two wickets off the final two balls to slip to defeat by the narrowest of margins.
Buoyed by their tense victory, Pakistanska Foreningen again batted first in their next match against Sigtuna, posting an even more impressive score of 103. Sigtuna never hinted at getting anywhere near the imposing target, closing 26 runs short.
Looking for their first victory of the Dream11 European Cricket Series Stockholm at their fifth attempt, Stockholm Mumbai Indians faced Sigtuna who were looking to instantly repair the damage of their heavy defeat to Pakistanska Foreningen in the previous game.
Stockholm Mumbai Indians elected to bat first and posted a decent 77 before the elements intervened. After a brief rain delay, Sigtuna made heavy weather of chasing down the target, but eventually scraped home with four balls to spare on the back of Qurban Ali’s well-crafted innings at the top of the order.
Things didn’t improve for Stockholm Mumbai Indians against Kista as they were on the receiving end of another heavy defeat – a sixth in a row in the Dream11 European Cricket Series Stockholm. After restricting the demoralised Stockholm Mumbai Indians to only 47, Kista cruised to their target in only 5.4 overs.
In the final match of the day with the sunshine finally peeking through the clouds, unbeaten Kista smashed 103 which Stockholm never threatened at all, closing 27 runs short, despite losing only 2 wickets.
Thursday sees six massive games as we whittle down to four teams for the Dream11 European Cricket Series Stockholm semi-finals and Final the following day.
