The European Cricket Network (ECN) is thrilled to announce the inaugural Meltl Shield, a groundbreaking women’s cricket event modeled after the highly successful Weston Shield. Named in honor of Manuela Meltl-Weston, the wife of ECN founder Daniel Weston, this tournament promises to bring the best of women's cricket to the forefront, showcasing top talent from across Europe and the British Isles.
The Meltl Shield will see two formidable teams, Team Europe and British & Irish Roses, compete in a series of thrilling matches set to take place on the 24th and 25th of August in Rome, Italy. As excitement builds, we are proud to unveil the final squads for both teams.
