Hamza Saleem, the Spain opener who made a 19-ball 56 on day one against Norway, hogged the limelight on a rain-affected day two. The talented left-handed batsman impressed with a quickfire 19-ball 44 not out in a reduced five-over thrash against Sweden.
Batting first, Spain put on 72 in five overs for the loss of just one wicket after Hamza's exceptional knock. Sweden fell short by 12 runs with Hamza winning the Player of the Match award for his performance.
Hamza's hammer display follows quickly on the back of another stellar showing on the opening day against Norway when his blistering 19-ball 56 not out inspired Spain to a crucial eight wicket win.
